Hello, I’m a Naturopathic Nutrition Therapist and Yoga Teacher living in Brighton.
I founded Nutri5Plus in 2012 having studied for three years to gain a Naturopathic Nutrition Diploma with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.Clients contact me regarding nutrition for various reasons from wanting to feel and look better for a special event to a specific condition.If you are interested in a consultation I offer our first meeting for free.
My 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training was in 2013 with Yogahaven.I have been teaching Hatha yoga for nearly four years and practicing for eight.I teach basic, foundation, yin, yin/yang and flow yoga to all ages from 3 to 74 years old, and offer classes for complete beginners.I have also studied with Yoga for the Special Child to enable me to teach children with additional needs, ADD and ADHD.I am continuing to further my own learning by attending a PostGrad Yoga Programme at Unity Studio, Brighton and preparing to go to Morocco to assist and mentor students who are embarking on their yoga teacher training.Practicing yoga with me often includes learning the mechanics of the postures and the opportunity to stop and ask questions.In addition I may relate to how we function internally, enabling us to gain a deeper awareness of how the postures help us. I may also refer to the current season or offer how we can create balance in our body by introducing an awareness of the wheels of energy, otherwise known as ‘chakras’.
In the past year I have offered workshops on the following topics, Juicing, Love Your Belly (Pre & Probiotics - Understanding our gut), Yin/Yang & Juice, Introduction to the Basic Yoga Postures.
I organised the first Nutrition area with talks at the Brighton Yoga Festival last year along with managing the food and drink exhibitors and will be helping again this year.
